	Ellen has had a passion for photography for many years and has pursued it heavily when she started traveling around the world with her husband John. Ellen has explored Australia, Greece, Turkey, England, Mexico, the Caribbean Islands as well as 30 states of the U.S. She likes to apply her graphic design eye to finding interesting subjects that are bold and graphic in color as well as off of the beaten track. Her images are shot traditionally with a Minolta 35mm SLR camera using Velvia slide film. She takes great pride in finding the perfect shot and does not retouch, color enhance or alter most of the images. A current resident of Florida, and originally from New Jersey. Her formal training in Advertising and Design was obtained from The Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus Ohio. She has worked in graphic design for the past 25 years. Many of her photos have been published by magazines, greeting card companies, as well as corporate clients. "Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away"
